Ignite is hiring an experienced Data Engineer/Data Analyst with an active SECRET clearance to support the government customer in Huntsville, Alabama.Position Overview Under the guidance of the Program Manager, the Data Engineer/Data Analyst supports data engineering, analytics, reporting, and decision-support initiatives in a secure Department of War (DoW) environment

This position is responsible for designing, building, maintaining, and optimizing data solutions primarily within the Army Vantage Platform, while also leveraging Power BI for visualization, reporting, and integration with enterprise data products. The Data Engineer/Data Analyst will partner with mission stakeholders, analysts, developers, and platform teams through all phases of the data and analytics lifecycle, including requirements analysis, data ingestion, transformation, modeling, validation, visualization, troubleshooting, and sustainment. This role helps enable authoritative, scalable, and secure data products that improve operational insight, business intelligence, and decision-making across multiple Line of Business initiatives.

Essential Functions, Responsibilities, and Duties Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Analyze business requirements, functional requirements, and data specifications to design and develop scalable data and analytics solutions. Leverage Power BI to create visualizations, dashboards, and executive-level reporting solutions using trusted and governed data sources. Develop and optimize SQL queries, procedures, and transformations to support data integration and reporting requirements.
