Job description

Precision Resources, a division of The Trimarc Group, Inc. is currently searching for a Data Engineer for a permanent ONSITE position for one of our Dothan, Alabama clients. The qualified individual will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance data pipelines for efficient data processing and integration for real-time and batch-processing.

This position requires a US Citizenship or Green card. Compensation: $90,000 to $125,000 Relocation Assistance Healthcare, Insurance, 401k Holiday, vacation and PTO Qualifications: 5+ years of experience designing and/or implementing ETL/ELT processes and data integration. Load/Extract, Load, Transform pipelines for both batch and real-time data processing.

Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL processes, and data modeling techniques. Utilize data integration to ingest data from various sources (SQL databases, APIs, cloud platforms, flat files) into target data warehouses or data lakes. Monitor and optimize data integration processes and applications for performance, identifying and resolving problems in data loading and query execution.

Experience with integration tools Qlik, Talend, Informatica, SSIS Ensure data quality and consistency within the data warehouse. Develop custom integrations and transformations using SQL and/or Python. Experience developing and maintaining logical and physical data models.

Strong understanding of data governance, MDM, metadata management, and data quality frameworks. Proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Demonstrated experience in mentoring and knowledge-sharing within cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills: Hands-on experience with cloud data platform adoption or migration (e.g., Snowflake, Azure Synapse, Microsoft Fabric, Redshift, or BigQuery). Familiarity with business intelligence tools such as MicroStrategy, Power BI, or Tableau. Working knowledge of regulatory and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, SOX).
