Job Summary:
KPMG is a leading advisory firm that prioritizes the growth and development of its professionals. They are currently seeking a Senior Specialist to join their Federal Advisory practice, where the role involves supporting client solutions through analytics and data wrangling, as well as deriving insights from data.
Responsibilities:
• Support delivery of client solutions utilizing analytics, exploratory data analysis, data wrangling, and ETL
• Derive insights from data using analytics and data wrangling tools (e.g. - Python, R. Alteryx, SQL, SAS)
• Perform operations to prepare data for analysis (e.g. - data cleansing, data integration, data transformation)
• Gather analytic requirements from clients and technical / non-technical audiences on analytic results
• Develop documentation and guides for analytics usage / maintenance
Qualifications:
Required:
• A minimum of three years of technical data science / data analytics experience; U.S. Federal government consulting experience preferred
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university
• Experience analyzing / wrangling data utilizing Python, SQL, R. Alteryx, SAS, or other commonly used software and platforms
• Experience with data science, machine learning, data simulation, and optimization concepts / techniques
• Strong communication skills and ability to discuss technical concepts with non-technical audiences
• Position requires individuals to work daily on client-site
• Applicant must possess a U.S. Government TS/SCI clearance
