TheRole

Thesuccessful candidate will work on a team within the Retail Analytics Platform (RADP) product area,specifically,buildingAtScaledata models within ourAtScaleplatform on AWS. This would include working directly with our data consumers on use case data need requirementsthat would directly impact the semantic layer design and data modeling development against our Snowflake prepared and curated databases paying close attention to the granularity of the data to meet the use case needs.

Your direct engagement with the data consumers defines the standard metrics in support of the certification of metrics governance process, provides the consistency of data and supports both the development of certified dashboards on our Tableau AWS Platform, and our evolving AI capabilities around conversational analytics and agents.

The team highly values quality, efficient, performant semantic layer design and data model development and would have close collaboration with the BI Developer to ensure the best design of aggregates in support of the dashboard performance; being able to communicate to the consumers any trade-offs between performance and data needs. You will also contribute to the migration of theAtScaleplatform from the legacy installer version to the Kubernetes EKS version.

This is a hands-on, individual contributor role.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • 5 years+ ofdemonstratedability in data analytics, data visualization, and business intelligence
  • The ideal candidate will have 2+ years' experience developingAtScalesemantic layers and BI Data Models
  • Experience with theAtScaleEKS developer version and/or Kubernetes EKS Core Skills a plus
  • 2+ years developing semantic layers and OLAP cubes (i.e., MS SSAS, Business Objects, etc.)required
  • Data modeling background preferred
  • Experience with connecting to and writing complex SQL against both cloud relational database technologies - ideally Snowflake
  • Track record of working with BI/Reporting toolsets including Tableau,PowerBIand/or other BI tools
  • Familiarity with using Tableau Desktop and Server technologiesan added plus
  • Must have strong consultative, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work with a variety of colleagues, including Product Owners and the Engineering community, to ensure the best dashboarding solutions are delivered
  • Full life-cyclemethodologyincluding change management processes and ensuring changes areproperly testedand migrated to production
  • Familiarity with working in an Agile development environment using tools like JIRA and Confluence
  • History of collaboration with Data Governance teams to catalog deployed business intelligence solutions
  • History of working directly with data consumers to understand value add for use case development as well as the consumers use cases for the data to drive requirements
  • Advanced degree and/or certification in relevant subject area (e.g., analytics, computer science, data science)
  • Exceptional verbal/written communication and presentation skills

RADPis responsible forfoundational and strategicanalytical data and business intelligenceassets widely used across multiple business lines to enable analytics, personalization, AI/ML, and digital experiences.

Fidelity's Onsite Working Model
Fidelity is transitioning to a full-time onsite working model through a phased rollout across regions and roles. Currently, some roles and locations require 100% onsite presence, while others require less. Onsite expectations are likely to evolve as the rollout continues. This transition does not apply to fully remote roles.
