What You'll Do

As an Assistant Estimator, you'll support our estimating department by helping prepare accurate and competitive bids for commercial construction projects.

Key Responsibility is data entry into estimating software for takeoff and pricing

Daily tasks also include:

  • Coordinate and manage bid invitations and bid schedules.
  • Download, organize, and maintain project drawings, specifications, addenda, and supporting bid documents
  • Review and interpret Division 8 specifications and architectural plan including:
    • Hollow Metal Doors & Frames
    • Wood Doors
    • Finish Hardware
    • FRP Doors
    • STC-Rated Openings
    • LEED Requirements
    • Door schedules, Floor plans Partition types, etc.
  • Obtain and compare vendor and manufacturer quotations.
  • Assist in preparing accurate and competitive bid proposals.
  • Verify pricing, quantities, and project requirements before bid submission.
  • Review and process RFIs, ASIs, CCDs, and construction addenda.
  • Support LEED and project documentation requirements.


Qualifications

Preferred Experience

Candidates with experience in any of the following industries are encouraged to apply:
