POSITION SUMMARY: The Project Manager independently manages end-to-end execution of complex projects, ensuring high-quality, on-time, and on-budget delivery in alignment with client requirements and company SOPs. This role manages project financials, resources, data integrity, and performance metrics while driving continuous improvement in quality and operational efficiency. The role also supports proposals, reporting, and leadership decision-making through accurate analysis and clear communication. As a senior client-facing role, the project manager builds trusted partnerships, manages key accounts, and identifies opportunities for long-term growth.

Requirements:

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage day-to-day execution of complex, high-profile projects, including scope, resources, risk, financials, and change management, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery aligned with customer requirements and SOPs.
  • Gather and validate client requirements, prepare timely and accurate quotes, and ensure effective project execution.
  • Manage project financial performance, monitoring revenue, costs, margins, utilization, and key performance indicators to meet divisional goals.
  • Identify, recruit, onboard, and manage language professionals and project staff, ensuring readiness, performance quality, and optimal rate negotiation.
  • Maintain accurate, complete, and timely project, client, assignment, and performance data across systems; ensure proper use of project technologies and tools.
  • Monitor quality trends, implement corrective actions, and continuously improve workflows, SOPs, and operational efficiency.
  • Train, coach, and support team members; foster a productive work environment and resolve conflicts quickly and professionally.
  • Prepare and deliver regular project and management status reports using operational and financial metrics to inform leadership decision-making.
  • Support business development by preparing technical, pricing, and past performance inputs for proposals and assisting with marketing and sales initiatives as needed.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships by setting expectations, providing regular reporting, managing contracts, and leading client and project meetings.
  • Proactively build account knowledge, identify growth opportunities, and act as a trusted advisor to ensure long-term client satisfaction and retention.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (course of study in translation or interpretation a plus) or equivalent years of experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of corporate project management experience in the language services industry.
  • More than 3 years of demonstrated account/relationship management experience.
  • Native or bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
  • Excellent communication, public speaking, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven analytical and organizational skills to complete goals/projects on time.
  • Familiarity with CAT tools and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently in a high operational tempo environment.
  • Exceptional problem solving/critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to work extended hours during busy periods based on customer needs.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Intimate familiarity with project management best practices.

Work Environment:

  • Work is generally performed remotely.

Pay Range: Pay Range: $60K - $85K
