Job description

This role is based at our Corporate Office in Menomonee Falls, WI. You’ll work onsite from Monday through Thursday, with the option to work remotely on Fridays.

About the Role

In this role, you will analyze and report on Kohl's marketing campaign strategies and tactics by customer, product and channel. You will use a consultative approach, working with Marketing strategy teams to define campaign test objectives, determine proper test design to ensure measurability, clearly define actionable KPIs and generate campaign insights.

What You’ll Do

  • Work with strategy teams to define campaign test objectives

  • Ensure that all campaigns have defined and measurable KPIs

  • Generate campaign insights and evaluate marketing effectiveness to inform key decision-makers and strategic initiatives

  • Provide insights gathered from multiple data sources and translate insights into a compelling story to inform senior leadership

  • Use high-level data modeling techniques to perform analysis

  • Create testing recaps and prepare visualizations based on recommendations

  • Develop and implement process improvements and identify ways to automate and provide self-serve capabilities to marketing partners through standardization and process improvement

  • Work with Marketing Technology and IT to provide business requirements for standardization, automation and better data

  • Leverage GCP BigQuery environment and data science tools (i.e. SQL, Python, or R) to develop and improve upon core statistical testing code

  • Work in a matrixed organization with multiple stakeholders

  • Additional tasks may be assigned

What Skills You Have

Required

  • Bachelor's Degree in Data Science, Business, Statistics, Computer Science, Management Information Systems or other related field

  • 2+ years of experience working on an analytics team performing statistical analysis and/or data modeling

  • Proficient with SQL

  • Experience with Python or R

  • Experience working with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI)

  • Understanding of sound data visualization practices

  • Experience working with inferential statistical methods such as t-tests, ANOVAs, Chi-Sq

  • Experience with appropriate measurement methods across online and offline channels

Preferred

  • Experience conducting A/B testing

  • Advanced Degree in Data Science, Data Analytics or similar

  • Experience with supervised and unsupervised machine learning models
