Job description

Data Visualization Developer โ€“ Tableau

Location: Baltimore, MD (Fully Onsite)

Duration: Long Term

Type: W2 Only

Client: NTT Data/Morgan Stanley

Data and Intelligence-Analytics-BI Reporting-Tableau

Job Responsibilities Include:

Modeling data on the backend as well as telling a compelling story on the front end through effective data visualization

Developing dashboards in Tableau

Developing visualizations and presenting that data to senior leadership that is intuitive and clearly communicates the desired insight

Working as a part of the Engineering and Architecture Governance team to help mature the dashboarding capabilities

Create tables, execute ETL, develop queries, etc in SQL

Must have skills:

5-7 years of experience creating dashboards in Tableau

4+ years of experience with Tableau integrations and connecting to a variety of data sources including MS excel, flat files, RDMBS and hierarchical databases

4+ years of experience with SQL queries

Experience working with business stakeholders in understanding their requirements, the data available and come up with proactive data visualization solutions

Excellent Communication / Reporting (able to present the insight and meaning)

Excellent Problem Solving skills

Degree: Bachelorโ€™s in computer science or equivalent.
