Senior Systems Analyst
Dahlgren Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren, VA

Strategic Data Systems (SDS) is seeking an experienced Systems Analyst (Data Architect) to support a DoN customer. Strategic Data Systems is an experienced technical solutions provider for the Navy, Marine Corps, DoD, and other federal customers. Our mission is to provide exceptional technical capabilities, management, and support to the warfighter.
The Senior Systems Analyst will be responsible for providing systems configuration support, troubleshooting, research and analysis, and database development
Requirements
  • High School degree required, Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Six (6) years of professional experience in relation to implementation of business and technical requirements; analyzing; planning and development; application testing; and database management support.
  • Knowledge of service management concepts for networks and related standards (e.g., Information Technology Infrastructure Library, current version ITIL).
  • Knowledge of how AI solutions integrate with cloud or other IT infrastructure.
  • Knowledge of how to automate development, testing, security, and deployment of AI/machine learning-enabled software to the DoD.
  • Qualified experience in Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF) and enterprise architecture tools such as IBM's System Architect.
  • This position requires a Top Secret clearance. Once contractors follow a WRC paradigm this will have a CWF designation at 653 Work Role Code with the proficiency level of Advanced. Skill in designing the best approach and architecture for automated data labeling and data lifecycle.
  • At Least one of the following certifications for IAT III compliance: CASP+, CCNP Security, or CCSP

Responsibilities
  • The Senior Systems Analyst will be responsible for providing systems configuration support, troubleshooting, research and analysis, and database development.
  • Provide analysis, design, patches, and upgrades to database applications, software, technical architectures.
  • Analyze information to determine, recommend, and plan the development of a new application or modification of an existing application.
  • Responsible for providing support to government stakeholders with knowledge of data operations, knowledge of cloud computing service models Software as a Service (SaaS), Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), and Platform as a Service (PaaS).
  • Confer with systems analysts, engineers, programmers and others to design application.
  • Examine and identify database structural necessities by evaluating operations, applications, and programming.
  • Prepare database design and architecture reports.
  • Responsible for providing insight and input on AI solutions that integrate with cloud or other IT infrastructures.
  • Consult with customers and key stakeholders to evaluate functional requirements for AI and data application.
  • Designs a system's data models, data flow, interfaces, and infrastructure to meet the information requirements of a customer or mission.
