Data Systems Analyst

Essential Functions
  • Develop, maintain, and optimize SQL scripts, stored procedures, and database queries.
  • Support SQL Server and IBM AS/400 databases used by the company's business applications.
  • Design and maintain processes for importing, exporting, and validating large volumes of business data.
  • Create and maintain ad hoc reports and data extracts to support business operations.
  • Develop and support integrations between internal systems and third-party applications.
  • Automate recurring business processes using database tools, scripting, and integration technologies.
  • Troubleshoot data synchronization and integration issues.
  • Coordinate software installations, upgrades, testing, and ongoing system maintenance..
  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Investigate application issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with software vendors and internal departments to resolve technical issues.
  • Participate in testing of new functionality, upgrades, and system enhancements.
  • Create technical documentation, user guides, and implementation procedures.
  • Provide technical support and training to end users as needed.
  • Maintain documentation for system configurations and business processes.
  • Ensure business systems comply with company policies for protecting employee and customer information.
  • Follow established security and change management procedures.

Qualifications
Required
  • Five or more years of experience supporting enterprise business systems.
  • Five or more years of experience writing SQL scripts and queries.
  • Experience working with Microsoft SQL Server and/or IBM AS/400 (DB2) databases.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience importing, exporting, and validating large datasets.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while working independently and as part of a team.

Preferred
  • Experience with dealership management systems such as IntelliDealer, CDK Drive, Procede Excede, Softbase, or similar DMS platforms.
  • Experience in the commercial vehicle, construction equipment, agricultural equipment, or equipment rental industries.
  • Experience with SSIS, Informatica, ETL processes, REST APIs, XML/JSON, or systems integration.
  • Familiarity with reporting tools like PowerBI, Tableau, and Microsoft Excel.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Relevant SQL Server, database, or Microsoft certifications.
