• Perform comprehensive assessments of clients to identify their mental health needs and develop an individualized treatment plan that incorporates both short- and long-term goals.
• Provide clinical counseling sessions via telehealth, employing effective therapeutic techniques to assist clients in navigating their challenges and achieving positive outcomes.
• Deliver direct support to individuals, particularly focusing on children, adolescents, and those dealing with trauma-related issues such as PTSD.
• Maintain detailed and accurate client records in compliance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards, ensuring confidentiality and security of sensitive information.
• Utilize evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness techniques to enhance therapeutic outcomes.
• Contribute to ongoing clinical research initiatives aimed at improving treatment methodologies, enhancing patient care, and shaping best practices in mental health counseling.
• Actively engage with the multidisciplinary team to ensure a holistic approach to client care, participating in case discussions and collaborative treatment planning.

The primary focus of this role will be providing mental health services to a diverse range of clients, including children, adolescents, and adults, who may be experiencing various mental health issues. • A Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling or a closely related field from an accredited institution is required.
• Current active licensure as a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) in Vermont.
• Demonstrated knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as CBT and DBT, as well as trauma-informed care practices.
• Strong skills in patient assessment, treatment planning, and behavior management techniques.

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in mental health counseling, with a focus on telehealth services.
