ABOUT YOU:

We are looking for an Engineering Manager, Data Science who leads with empathy and purpose. In this role, you'll manage a team of data scientists and engineers working at the intersection of AI, analytics, and research. Your priority is your people - ensuring they are supported, challenged, and set up to do their best work - while also guiding the technical direction and delivery of data science solutions.

THE ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Mentor and develop data scientists and engineers of varying skill levels

Data Science Delivery & Oversight
Guide the development and delivery of machine learning models, analytical pipelines, and AI-powered solutions

Promote best practices in data science - model quality, reproducibility, documentation, and responsible AI
Translate complex data science outputs into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders
Stakeholder Collaboration

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5+ years of experience managing data science or analytics teams with a strong focus on people development
  • Hands-on background in data science, machine learning, or advanced analytics
  • Strong technical foundation in Python, SQL, and relevant DS/ML frameworks
  • Experience working in cloud environments (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
  • Familiarity with Agile practices and data engineering workflows
  • Outstanding communication skills and the ability to bridge technical and non-technical audiences
  • A genuine commitment to growing the people around you
  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, or related); experience is the most relevant factor
