Project Manager
COMPANY OVERVIEW
SpectronRx is a growing Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO) based in Indianapolis, Indiana, and production locations in South Bend, IN; Bunker Hill, IN; and Danbury, CT with plans for additional future production facilities. We are seeking a Project Manager to join our growing company. The Project Manager will help organize, manage, and plan complex projects for SpectronRx’s scientific and financial feasibility for research, development, and product implementation efforts.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Lead projects to ensure they are completed on time and to specifications.
  • Prepare, coordinate, and present for customer update meetings.
  • Collaborate to schedule and facilitate planning sessions for all stakeholders.
  • Acts as a liaison between company, customers, and vendors.
  • Planning, scheduling, progress measurement, and analysis of a client facing projects.
  • Develop, monitor, and update integrated project plans and schedules.
  • Work closely with various stakeholders to ensure the accuracy and completeness of assigned tasks.
  • Provide cost analysis, estimating expected costs for projects.
  • Addresses questions, concerns, and/or complaints throughout the project.
  • Project specific ordering and resource planning.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
  • Physical Ability – Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time and stand for prolonged periods.
  • Attention to Detail – Ability to accurately count, verify, and record data.
  • Active Listening – Giving full attention to instructions and communications, asking questions as appropriate.
  • Speaking – Talking to others to convey information effectively.
  • Time Management – Managing own time to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

TRAVEL
  • Regular travel is minimal.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • BS or equivalent experience in Chemistry, Computer Science, Business, or Engineering or related field required.
  • Must have strong analytical skills, work with minimal supervision and the ability to prioritize projects; must be organized and able to handle multiple tasks.
  • Excellent human relations and communication skills are required.
  • Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • 3+ years of experience in a pharmaceutical environment, GMP preferred.
  • Radiochemistry experience preferred but not required.
  • Experience using SmartSheets or similar project planning software • PMP, PgMP, CAPM, and/or comparable project management certifications is a plus.
  • Thorough understanding of project management.
  • Experience with a Project Management Tool.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Valid Indiana driver’s license.
  • Pass a Background Check.
  • Prolonged periods of standing, walking, bending, and lifting.
