Pay Rate:

The annual base salary range for this position $82,600 - $112,100. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. About the Role:

The Administrative and Data Management Assistant will function as an administrator and data
manager in the field of risk analysis to support AFRL and the Risk Identification and Security
Countermeasure (RISC) mission. The Risk Identification and Security Countermeasure (RISC)
effort is a security-focused cross-functional capability that searches and consolidates information from multiple sources to identify potential risks associated with AFRL's intellectual property, programs, and personnel. RISC supports science and technology (S&T) managers and engineers while empowering AFRL leaders to make informed risk-management decisions; helping mitigate the adversary's impact on our technological advantage. RISC also informs and educates the AFRL workforce on these potential risks.

  • Control and maintain the critical records produced during security reviews and provides
    administrative and technical support.
  • Assist with the analysis and production of written and oral reports identifying risk and
    briefing to AFRL, USAF, and DoD entities.
  • A non-disclosure statement and attestation statement will be signed IAW current personnel security requirements.
  • Provide administrative and technical support to the RISC organization through a wide
    range of functions utilizing professional and technical skills.
  • Responsible for collating data and drawing possible risk analyst conclusions based on
    current threats to technology and resources.
  • Assist senior analysts in analyzing and evaluating the efficiency, effectiveness, and
    productivity of the organizations' functions and programs.
  • Input and maintain data and records of security reviews, suspense actions through
    automated systems to ensure data is processed within the designated time frames and
    maintained in accordance with appropriate laws, regulations, and policies.
  • Collect, verify, compute, consolidate and review a variety of technical and statistical data to prepare reports and briefings.
  • Identify and describe trends and/or problems, possible cause or explanations, make
    recommendations and refers to higher level analysts for in-depth study.
  • Skill in handling, storing, and disseminating classified data in accordance with established DoD procedures.
  • Assist with proposal development, if necessary.
  • Perform other duties, as assigned.

Experience Requirements:

  • Five (5) years of experience with the analysis and production of written and oral reports identifying risk and briefing to Senior AFRL, USAF, and DoD entities.

Education Requirements:

  • College degree preferred.

Other Required Skills & Abilities:

  • Must be able to effectively communicate with customer and fulfill all duties and responsibilities as listed in the contract.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite including, but not limited to: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.

Security Clearance Requirements:

Top Secret/SCI Clearance
