Job description

Our client, a leader in financial & tax software, is seeking a Risk Analyst to join their team in Frisco, TX!

You will be supporting payment processing merchants by addressing complex financial, fraud, and risk-related issues. As well as handling high-volume inbound calls, de-escalating difficult situations, analyzing financial and transaction data, and balancing customer empathy with established risk policies and procedures.

**1-year W2 contract with benefits and paid holidays**

Responsibilities
  • Handle 20+ inbound calls daily, resolving complex financial, fraud, and risk-related questions for payment processing merchants.
  • Review merchant cases to release funds, collect outstanding balances, and assist with chargeback disputes.
  • Analyze customer information, financial patterns, and transaction data to identify fraud and risk trends.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and de-escalate complex or escalated customer issues with empathy and professionalism.
  • Analyze financial data to identify irregularities related to billing trends, financial relationships, and regulatory compliance.
Required Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in risk management, financial services, or a related call center environment.
  • Strong customer service, communication, and de-escalation skills, with the ability to handle difficult customer interactions.
  • Experience working in a high-volume inbound phone environment while meeting SLAs and performance metrics.
  • Proficiency with G-Suite and other relevant software; bachelor's degree in Finance, Risk Management, Accounting, or a related field is a plus.
