Actual pay will be based on various factors, such as a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, proficiency for the role, and internal equity. In addition to base pay, Kwik Trip gives 40% of pre-tax profits back to our coworkers with bonuses ranging from 8-12% of each coworker's gross annual wage depending on company profitability and offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, 401k, paid time off, and more.

About the Role
As a Data Analyst on Kwik Trip's IT Data Services team, you will develop reporting solutions and dashboards that help business teams make informed decisions. Working closely with stakeholders across the organization, you will analyze data, improve data quality, support data integration efforts, and transform complex information into meaningful insights. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys combining technical data skills with business problem solving to drive operational improvements.
What You'll Do
  • Design, develop, and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualizations for business stakeholders.
  • Analyze data and provide actionable insights that support operational and strategic decision-making.
  • Develop and maintain SQL queries, datasets, and reporting solutions.
  • Partner with business units to gather reporting requirements and translate them into effective analytics solutions.
  • Monitor data quality and perform validation activities to ensure accurate and reliable reporting.
  • Troubleshoot reporting, database, and data-related issues and recommend effective solutions.
  • Support data integration efforts and verify the accuracy of data moving between systems.
  • Create and maintain documentation for reports, datasets, and data processes.
  • Collaborate with IT and business teams to improve data accessibility and usability.
  • Support data governance and master data initiatives that enhance data consistency and reporting accuracy.
  • Develop testing scripts and perform quality control activities to ensure data integrity.
  • Serve as a resource for business partners by helping them understand and leverage enterprise data.

What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 2-4 years of experience working with data, reporting, analytics, or business intelligence solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and SQL Server Management Studio.
  • Experience developing reports, dashboards, and data-driven insights.
  • Understanding of data integration concepts and enterprise data management practices.
  • Knowledge of version control tools and release management processes.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze business requirements and develop data specifications.
  • Ability to write complex queries and work with advanced database tools.
