Position Summary

Curant Health is seeking a highly skilled Data Quality Analyst with strong expertise in validating data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across multiple data sources. This role will take ownership of designing, developing, and implementing automated data quality testing frameworks to proactively identify issues and support continuous improvement initiatives.

The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and experienced in working with large datasets, ETL processes, and automated testing methodologies within a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Essential FunctionsData Validation & Quality Assurance
  • Validate data accuracy, completeness, consistency, and timeliness across multiple systems
  • Perform data reconciliation and identify discrepancies across upstream and downstream sources
  • Analyze data anomalies, determine root causes, and identify trends to drive actionable insights
  • Develop and maintain both automated and manual data validation processes
Automation & Testing
  • Design, develop, and implement automated data quality testing frameworks
  • Create, execute, and maintain automated test cases for ETL pipelines, databases, and reporting layers
  • Participate in regression testing and post-deployment production data validation
Data Analysis & Issue Resolution
  • Investigate, document, and track data quality issues, including root cause analysis and resolution
  • Write and optimize complex SQL queries to validate large datasets and troubleshoot issues
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives through data quality monitoring and reporting
Collaboration & Governance
  • Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to define data quality rules and standards
  • Ensure adherence to data governance, compliance, and quality standards
  • Partner cross-functionally to support reliable, accurate, and scalable data solutions
QualificationsEducation & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 3+ years of experience in data quality, QA, or ETL testing
Technical Skills
  • Hands-on experience with SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services)
  • Strong SQL skills (complex queries, joins, aggregations, large dataset validation)
  • Understanding of ETL processes, data pipelines, and data warehousing concepts
  • Experience with data validation, reconciliation, and profiling techniques
  • Experience designing and developing test plans and automated test cases
