Job description

Eagle Harbor Solutions, LLC a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking an experienced Data Protection Engineer with a TS/SCI Security clearance to support EHS and our government customer in Washington, DC. This position is for a Future New Business Opportunity.

Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:
  • Provide technical expertise to actively manage, track, execute, coordinate, and report all tasks pertaining to the Data Protection environment
  • Design, implement and maintain data protection solutions and respond to service requests in a timely manner.
  • Effectively collaborate with members of other engineering teams in a timely manner.
  • Communicate professionally with all stakeholders.

Work Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • The applicant must have 5-10 years of demonstrated experience working with enterprise data protection and recovery solutions.
  • Demonstrated experience with EMC Avamar data protection.
  • Demonstrated experience with major operating systems, including Windows.
  • Demonstrated experience with storage systems, database management systems and security.
  • Knowledge of EMC Dell Data Domain preferred.
  • Knowledge of Commvault data protection preferred.
  • Experience with EMC RP4VM and vRPA preferred.
  • Understanding of enterprise services to include firewalls, IDS. /IPS, networks, and endpoint security preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.

Clearance Requirements:
  • TS/SCI DOD Security Clearance Required
