GENERAL OVERVIEW:
This job provides support for staff and patient care within the assigned imaging department.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Transports patients to and from clinical areas and verifies patient identity according to policies and procedures. Assists technologists with preparing patients for procedures. (30%)
  • Performs post-procedural duties including patient discharge, room clean up and restocking supplies. Assists with inventory control. (30%)
  • Assists technologists with delivering and retrieving patient reports/imaging, entering data, in electronic medical records, import and export through appropriate means and methods. (20%)
  • Provides nonclinical support to the department as necessary. (20%)
  • Any other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum
  • High school diploma or GED; or one to three months' experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred
  • 1 year experience in medical office or imaging office setting.

  • CPR - American Heart Association
  • Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
  • Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate
  • Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
