Job description

Project Manager – Data Migration (Remote)

  • We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and support complex data migration initiatives in preparation for a modern data platform transformation.
  • This role will focus on driving execution, maintaining organization across multiple workstreams, and ensuring successful delivery of critical dataprojects.
  • The ideal candidate will bring strong data migration experience, excellent stakeholder management skills, and the ability to provide structure and momentum in a fast-moving environment.

Required Qualifications

 10+ years of project management experience, including large-scale initiative.

  • Proven experience leading data migration or data transformation projects
  • Strong knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skill. Experience with Azure DevOps (ADO) or similar project tracking tool

Leadership

  • Lead end-to-end execution of mid- to large-scale data migration projects
  • Develop and manage project plans, timelines, risks, and dependencies
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned to business objectives

Data Migration Oversight

  • Support migration of multiple large data marts to a new data platform
  • Coordinate across technical teams to ensure seamless transition and minimal disruption
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with data transformation and migration efforts

Agile & Scrum Execution

  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies and ensure adherence to Scrum best practices
  • Partner with technical teams to maintain backlog, sprint priorities, and delivery cadence
  • Drive continuous improvement in Agile processes and execution

Stakeholder Management

  • Act as primary point of contact for key stakeholders and leadership
  • Communicate project status, risks, and progress clearly and proactively
  • Facilitate decision-making and alignment across cross-functional teams

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $75.00/hr.
