Project Manager

Pure Clean Systems | A Talica Group Company

 

Position Overview

The Project Manager is a critical delivery role at Pure Clean Systems responsible for managing the full project lifecycle for hygienic and industrial piping cleaning projects. This position owns project administration, client coordination, cost tracking, documentation, and closeout, ensuring projects are executed safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with customer specifications and regulatory requirements.

The Project Manager serves as the central point of coordination between clients, engineering, field teams, and internal leadership, with a strong focus on organization, documentation, and financial discipline.

Project Planning & Execution

  • Plan, schedule, and manage piping cleaning, passivation, derouging, disinfection, and chemical cleaning projects from kickoff through closeout
  • Coordinate project requirements with clients, engineering teams, and site representatives
  • Review and interpret P&IDs, isometrics, and engineering drawings; prepare redlines and markups as needed
  • Utilize 3D modeling and navigation tools (e.g., Navisworks, Plant3D, or similar) to review plant layouts and system models
  • Support on-site execution in collaboration with field supervisors to ensure work is performed safely and to specification

Project Administration & Controls

  • Manage all administrative aspects of the project lifecycle, including proposals, submittals, project setup, and file organization
  • Establish and maintain complete project files, including protocols, procedures, and documentation packages
  • Track time, labor hours, and project milestones using internal tracking tools
  • Monitor project spend for labor and materials and track budget performance
  • Manage change orders, including scope definition, pricing, approvals, and documentation
  • Ensure accurate and timely project billing in accordance with contract terms
  • Confirm complete project closeout packages are delivered, including reports, certificates, and final documentation

Client & Stakeholder Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the project lifecycle
  • Communicate project status, schedules, risks, and changes clearly to clients and internal stakeholders
  • Address customer questions and issues promptly and escalate as needed
  • Support long-term customer relationships through professional project execution and follow-through

Quality, Safety & Compliance

  • Ensure project execution complies with GMP, USP, customer specifications, and internal Pure Clean Systems protocols
  • Verify all required protocols, procedures, and validation documentation are in place prior to execution
  • Support safety planning and compliance with site-specific and regulatory requirements
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of project workflows, documentation standards, and best practices

Reporting & Documentation

  • Track and document project progress, costs, and key milestones
  • Prepare technical reports, certificates, and final closeout documentation
  • Maintain organized, auditable project records in alignment with Talica standards
  • Provide regular project updates to management on schedule, cost, and execution status

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management or a related technical discipline, or significant industry experience
  • Working knowledge of chemical cleaning, passivation, derouging, and/or related process flushing and cleaning processes
  • Strong ability to read and interpret P&IDs, mechanical drawings, construction contracts and technical documentation
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel for tracking budgets, time, and project data
  • Experience with 3D modeling or navigation tools such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Navisworks or similar platforms as well as Bluebeam
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple active projects
  • Proven success in client-facing roles and project documentation management
  • Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed
