The Project Manager will manage multiple projects and teams to ensure project goals are achieved. The role will interact with multiple cross functional teams and customers. The Project Manager will lead a project team from inception to completion.

As a Project Manager, you will:

  • Manage business aspects of multiple concurrent projects and ensuring financial targets and timing are met while maintaining established quality standards
  • Manage, train, coach, and mentor project team related to their job responsibilities. Plan, schedule, and oversee coordinator activities and monitor project(s) status
  • Actively maintain customer relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and quality of service
  • Managing all activities associated with materials, budgeting, and production for assigned project(s)
  • Act as liaison with the customer and project staff to properly identify and process scope changes, address issues and communicate regarding project milestones
  • Managing project related correspondence and documents through designated document management systems
  • Ensuring adherence to Roush’s standards of quality, safety, and best practices along with customer specific requirements
  • Direct and manage coordination groups that assign goals for subcontractors
  • Develop and execute large project plans. Manage day-to-day build operations supporting department management. Manage the execution of continuous quality improvement activities
  • Collect data from customers, suppliers, Bill of Material, and other resources to prepare presentations and reports. Review project status daily and report percentage of completion

As a Project Manager, you will need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Engineering
  • Minimum of 2 years of coordination experience with 2 years of formal or informal leadership experience
  • Proven customer relationship skills including the ability to interpret customer requests and deliverables
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to effectively host presentations and work with cross functional teams
  • Expert skills in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, and Project. Microsoft Excel is a large part of job responsibilities
  • Must have excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, the ability to follow directions and prioritize a wide range of assignments
  • Must be able to work overtime/weekends

A successful candidate may also have:

  • Project Management Professional certification
  • •Working knowledge of program management tools and processes
