Purpose of Role

The Sr. Analytics & Data Governance supports the integrity, reliability, and compliance of Under Armour's ecommerce analytics ecosystem. This role maintains the data layer, tagging standards, analytics platform configurations, and governance practices that enable trusted ecommerce measurement. The role partners closely with Engineering, QA, Legal, Privacy, Enterprise Data Management and Analytics, Marketing, and business stakeholders to support scalable, compliant, and well-documented ecommerce analytics implementations.

Your Impact
  • Support the ongoing health, governance, and reliability of Under Armour's ecommerce analytics ecosystem by executing against a defined roadmap and established governance standards.
  • Manage ecommerce analytics intake, triage, prioritization, backlog hygiene, and change management.
  • Administer and maintain analytics platform configurations, including report suites, classifications, processing rules, variables, segments, permissions, and related governance updates.
  • Support data layer, tagging, and measurement work by documenting analytics requirements, implementation guidance, acceptance criteria, validation needs, and expected business outcomes.
  • Partner with Engineering, QA, Privacy, Security, Enterprise Data Management, Marketing, Site Merchandising, Product, and other teams to support scalable and compliant analytics implementations.
  • Monitor analytics collection health and help identify data collection issues, measurement gaps, and governance risks that may impact reporting quality.
  • Investigate analytics data quality issues, identifying root causes, coordinating resolution with the right partners, and supporting clear follow up.
  • Support analytics validation, documentation, and stakeholder enablement to improve and maintain data confidence.
  • Maintain runbooks, standards, reference materials, procedures, and operational documentation for analytics administration, support, validation, and troubleshooting.
  • Communicate status, risks, dependencies, and recommended next steps to stakeholders and leadership in a clear and timely way.
Qualifications
  • 3 to 5+ years of experience in Digital Analytics, Analytics Operations, Data Governance, ecommerce Product Management, or a related field.
  • Working knowledge of analytics platforms such as Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics, including key administration, configuration, and governance functions.
  • Working knowledge of tag management systems such as Adobe Tags, Tealium, Google Tag Manager, or similar platforms.
  • Experience supporting analytics implementations, including data layer requirements, tagging strategies, measurement plans, validation activities, and data collection standards.
  • Experience with ecommerce data layers, event-based measurement, tagging taxonomies, and analytics solution design.
  • Understanding of digital privacy, consent management, cookie categorization, and regional privacy considerations as they relate to analytics data collection and measurement governance.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills, with experience investigating analytics data quality issues and coordinating resolution across partner teams.
  • Experience documenting requirements, acceptance criteria, runbooks, standards, procedures, and operational guidance for technical and business audiences.
  • Ability to coordinate work across technical and non-technical teams while keeping priorities, dependencies, ownership, and next steps clear.
  • Experience working in Jira or a similar work management tool.
  • Clear communication skills, with the ability to explain analytics issues, business impact, risks, and recommended actions to stakeholders.

Base Compensation

 $100,000.00-$135,000.00 USD

Most new hires fall within this range and have the opportunity to earn more over time. Initial placement within the salary range, however, is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills and experience for the position.
