Responsibilities

As a Data Product Manager at GUARD, you will be a trusted partner interfacing with the business, continuously capturing new opportunities, delivering, and realizing business value with data and analytics. In partnership with business domain leads, you will lead the design, implementation, and adoption of valuable and reusable data products. This position is crucial in enhancing our capabilities and achieving impactful business outcomes. As a Data Product Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the success of our innovative approach towards a decentralized and domain-driven data product marketplace.ย ย 

As a Data Product Manager, you will be:ย 

  • Engaging with business stakeholders regularly to identify and prioritize new opportunities and translate them into data product designs.ย 
  • Ensuring alignment of business opportunities and data products with market and regulatory requirements and business goals.ย 
  • Understanding and addressing user needs throughout the product lifecycle.ย 
  • Conducting research, user interviews, and providing guidance for product development.ย ย 
  • Leading the product discovery phase and creating the initial high-level technical design of data products.ย 
  • Overseeing the data product team and the entire data product lifecycle across continuous discovery and delivery cycles.ย ย 
  • Acting as the primary point of contact between cross-functional teams, data, IT, and business leaders.ย 
  • Ensuring data quality and implementing governance practices to maintain clean and current data.ย 
Qualifications

For this position, you will need to have:ย 

  • 3+ years of professional work experience.ย 
  • Experience in both data & analytics, and business fields.ย ย 
  • Experience in guiding teams towards desired outcomes.ย 
  • Proven ability to manage and engage with diverse stakeholders.ย 
  • Experience in facilitation of workshops and meetings.ย 
  • Ability to align technical solutions with business strategy.ย ย 
  • Propensity to translate expectations and challenges between stakeholders and technical experts.ย 
  • Proven ability to adapt and solve challenges while working in a constantly changing environment.ย 
  • Excellent spoken and written communication.ย 
  • Experience in product management, design and development within the data and AI space is a plus.ย 
  • Technical fluency towards data and AI is a plus.ย 
  • Strong understanding of industry trends and insurance knowledge is a plus.ย ย 
  • Experience with agile frameworks such as Scrum or Kanban is a plus.ย 

Salary Range $88,230.60 - $217,946.30 + bonus

In accordance with applicable pay transparency laws, this range represents a good-faith estimate. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, credentials, geographic location, and other considerations permitted by law.

This role may be based out of any of our office locations, including:

New York, NY; Parsippany, NJ; Conshohocken, PA; WilkesBarre, PA; Alpharetta, GA; Rosemont, IL; Plano, TX; Scottsdale, AZ; and Rancho Cordova, CA.
