Job Title: Data Analyst III
Compensation: $50/hr
Location: ExxonMobil Houston Campus - Spring, TX
Schedule: Monday-Friday (5/2); 8 hours/day, 40 hours/week; four days in the office with one remote flex day per week
Quantity: 1
Contract Duration: 12 months with possible extension
Scope
Provide engineering technician and data analysis support for the Wells Servicing team. The role includes data-quality management, well-history reviews, wellbore schematic management, AFE routing, and ad hoc engineering support. The Data Analyst will transform data into actionable insights that support business decisions through Power BI dashboards and other data-driven analytics solutions.
Responsibilities
  • Gather, quality-check, and analyze data from various sources to improve analytics and generate actionable insights.
  • Perform well-history reviews and support wellbore schematic management.
  • Support AFE routing and other Wells Servicing engineering activities.
  • Define business and technical requirements and translate them into data-driven solutions.
  • Support the development, testing, analysis, and delivery of analytics solutions.
  • Perform ad hoc engineering and data analysis as requested.
  • Develop, deliver, and sustain analytics solutions that predict, automate, and optimize decisions.
  • Create, update, and maintain Power BI dashboards.
  • Communicate analytical findings effectively to stakeholders.
  • Maintain documentation for data processes, models, reports, and analyses to ensure clarity, consistency, and cost-effective stewardship of delivered solutions.
Requirements
  • Oil and gas industry knowledge, preferably involving workover or drilling operations.
  • Advanced WellView skills.
  • Advanced Power BI Desktop skills, including creating, updating, and maintaining dashboards.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Basic SQL knowledge.
