Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Fitchburg, WI that is looking for a Salesforce Data Cloud Architect for a remote contract to hire opportunity.
Responsibilities:
* Lead the end-to-end architecture and implementation of Salesforce Data Cloud solutions
* Design scalable data models, identity resolution strategies, calculated insights, and segmentation frameworks
* Develop enterprise customer data strategies that support marketing, service, analytics, and AI initiatives
* Define governance, security, privacy, and consent management approaches for Data Cloud
* Design integrations between Salesforce Data Cloud and enterprise systems including EMRs, CRMs, marketing platforms, data warehouses, and third-party applications
* Build and optimize Data Streams, Data Lake Objects, Data Model Objects, Data Actions, and Calculated Insights
* Design identity resolution rules and unified customer profiles
* Ensure high-quality, reliable, and scalable data ingestion processes
* Enable audience segmentation and activation across Marketing Cloud, Health Cloud, Service Cloud, and external platforms
* Design real-time and batch activation strategies
* Support AI use cases including Agentforce, Einstein, and predictive analytics
* Optimize personalization strategies using unified customer profiles
* Monitor and optimize Data Cloud consumption credits
* Recommend best practices for data retention, refresh schedules, segmentation, and data processing
* Identify opportunities to improve performance while reducing operational costs
* Establish monitoring and governance processes
* Lead client discovery sessions and solution workshops
* Translate business requirements into technical architecture and implementation roadmaps
* Present solution designs to executive and technical stakeholders
* Provide strategic recommendations based on Salesforce platform capabilities and industry best practices
* Establish implementation standards, reusable frameworks, and documentation
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent professional experience)
* 2+ years of implementing Salesforce Data Cloud in enterprise environments
* Strong foundation in software engineering principles, including object-oriented programming, algorithms, data structures, system design, and application architecture
* Experience integrating Salesforce with enterprise applications using APIs, MuleSoft, ETL tools, or cloud data platforms
* Strong Python development experience with the ability to build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines, automate data processing, and develop reusable integration utilities
* Experience designing and consuming REST APIs and integrating enterprise applications using modern authentication and integration patterns
* Experience designing secure, scalable enterprise data architectures
* Strong understanding of customer data platforms (CDPs), identity resolution, and customer 360 concepts
* Strong understanding of source control, CI/CD practices, testing, debugging, logging, and production support for enterprise data solutions
* Deep understanding of Salesforce Data Cloud objects, ingestion methods, segmentation, calculated insights, and activation
* Expert-level SQL skills, including writing and optimizing complex queries, joins, common table expressions (CTEs), window functions, and data transformations across large datasets
* Working knowledge of Server-Side JavaScript (SSJS), with the ability to develop and troubleshoot Marketing Cloud automation and integration scripts
* Knowledge of cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, or Big Query
* Excellent communication and client-facing consulting skills
* Demonstrated ability to design and troubleshoot complex distributed systems, APIs, and enterprise integrations
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
