Role Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to design, build, and optimize enterprise-scale data platforms. This role is a key technical contributor responsible for architecting modern, scalable data solutions within the Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Fabric ecosystems.
The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in data architecture, distributed data processing, and advanced ETL/ELT engineering, and thrives in a fast-paced environment delivering high-performance, business-critical data solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Architect and deliver enterprise-grade data pipelines using Azure technologies such as Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, ADLS, and Microsoft Fabric

  • Design and implement end-to-end data solutions, including ingestion, transformation, and serving layers across medallion architectures

  • Develop and optimize scalable ELT/ETL pipelines using T-SQL, Python, and PySpark for both batch and real-time data processing

  • Enable low-latency, parallel data processing to support timely analytics and reporting needs

  • Manage and process high-volume transactional data from multiple source systems, ensuring accuracy, quality, and consistency

  • Design and maintain Data Vault 2.0 models (Hubs, Links, Satellites) and multi-layer data architecture (raw, business, reporting layers)

  • Build scalable data platforms supporting advanced analytics, distributed compute, and unified data environments

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with data architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver effective data solutions

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field

  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering, delivering enterprise-scale data solutions

  • Proven ability to work independently on complex technical solutions with minimal supervision

  • Strong collaboration and communication skills in cross-functional environments

  • Microsoft Azure certifications (or equivalent cloud certifications) are preferred

Preferred Skills

  • Expertise in Microsoft Azure data services and Microsoft Fabric ecosystem

  • Strong knowledge of data modeling techniques, including Data Vault 2.0 and medallion architecture

  • Advanced programming skills in T-SQL, Python, and PySpark

  • Experience with distributed data processing and big data platforms

  • Strong analytical mindset focused on building scalable, resilient, and high-performance systems

  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment while ensuring data quality and integrity

  • Excellent communication and documentation skills to translate technical solutions for business stakeholders
