WHAT YOU WILL DO
  • This position leads technical implementation of Privacy Operations requirements. Under the direction of the Privacy Operations Program Manager and in partnership with Privacy attorneys, the Privacy Operations Engineer implements approved privacy controls, administers privacy technology and workflows, and confirms that controls operate as intended. The position supports PriSMA reviews, consumer rights processes, data inventory activities, and related solutions in collaboration with business and technology stakeholders.
HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
  • Implement and maintain privacy controls approved through PriSMA and related Privacy review processes.
  • Test controls, document results, and elevate implementation gaps.
  • Build technical solutions to legal requirements rationalized by Privacy attorneys.Configure and maintain PriSMA intake and review workflows.
  • Implement enhancements, monitor issues, support integrations, and maintain operational compliance.
  • Own and administer privacy and information governance platforms.
  • Configure workflows, business rules, integrations, user access, automation, and releases.
  • Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with vendors and technology stakeholders.
  • Lead implementation, testing, upgrades, and adoption of privacy-related SaaS solutions.
  • Maintain technical documentation, validate data quality, remediate defects, and support platform initiatives.
  • Administer and improve data subject and consumer rights request workflows.
  • Ensure accurate request completion, manage exceptions, support reporting, and coordinate manual fulfillment when needed.
  • Support enterprise data inventory, mapping, classification, retention, and information management activities.
  • Maintain inventories, reconcile data, follow up with system owners, and validate operational inputs.Identify and implement opportunities to automate work, improve data quality, reduce manual effort, and strengthen reporting.
  • Support Legal Operations and the Risk Management, Compliance & Privacy team in developing approved AI and legal technology solutions.
  • Maintain configuration records, test results, procedures, control inventories, and evidence of implemented privacy controls.
  • Provide technical guidance on privacy workflows, platforms, and implementation requirements.
  • Collaborate with CIO organizations on privacy and cyber issues; elevate risks as needed.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, data analytics, cybersecurity, information technology, data governance, privacy, compliance, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Six or more years of experience in privacy technology, GRC systems, workflow platforms, data governance tools, security or privacy operations, enterprise applications, systems administration, automation, or technical program implementation.
  • Experience implementing workflow-based SaaS solutions.
  • Experience translating legal, privacy, compliance, security or business requirements into technical controls, system configurations, workflows, procedures, and evidence of implementation.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to explain technical topics clearly to legal, compliance, business, technology, and executive stakeholders.
  • Currently hold or willing to acquire certifications in privacy technology, cloud, cybersecurity, GRC, data governance, data analytics, platform administration, automation, or workflow management.
  • Experience configuring business rules, developing automation, maintaining integrations, validating system outputs, supporting production users, and documenting technical processes.
  • Working knowledge of privacy, AI governance, information security, data governance, or compliance frameworks, such as ISO 27701, ISO 27001/27002, ISO 42001, or comparable frameworks.
  • Self-directed, detail-oriented, and able to manage competing priorities in a fast-moving, cross-functional environment.

  • Compensation Range: $110,500 - $149,500
  • Monthly Hyundai/Genesis vehicle lease allowance (including insurance and maintenance)
