The role focuses on finance-related data domains including commissions, banking, general ledger (GL), financial reporting, attribution, reconciliations, policy administration, and reference data. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical skills, experience with enterprise financial systems, and the ability to get technical with data analysis, strong in SQL and problem solving.**Job Description****Key Responsibilities*** Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements for finance data initiatives.* Prepare user stories, business rules, process flows, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria.* Support initiatives involving commissions, banking, general ledger (GL), financial reporting, attribution, reconciliations, policy administration, and enterprise finance data.* Work closely with Data Engineers and Data Architects to clarify business requirements and validate implemented solutions.* Perform data validation, reconciliation, and functional testing to ensure data accuracy and business rule compliance.* Coordinate and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), defect tracking, and production validation.* Assist with troubleshooting production issues, performing functional analysis, and validating issue resolution.* Support data mapping, reference data, hierarchies, metadata, and business glossary activities.* Maintain functional documentation, process documentation, and operational procedures.* Participate in platform enhancements, process improvements, and release activities.* Collaborate with Data Governance teams to support data quality, metadata, and business definitions.* Utilize SQL to analyze, validate, and troubleshoot enterprise finance data.**Required Qualifications*** Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.* 5+ years of experience supporting enterprise finance applications, finance data platforms, or financial systems.* Experience with commissions, banking, general ledger (GL), financial reporting, attribution, reconciliations, or similar finance processes.* Experience gathering and documenting business and functional requirements.* Experience supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and production implementations.* Strong SQL skills for data analysis and validation.* Excellent analytical, problem solving, and communication skills.* Ability to collaborate effectively with both business and technical teams.**Preferred Qualifications*** Experience with Financial Data Management (FDM) or comparable enterprise finance platforms.* Experience with Databricks, Azure, SQL Server, or modern cloud data platforms.* Familiarity with enterprise data warehousing, dimensional modeling, and data integration.* Experience with Agile delivery methodologies.* Experience within financial services or insurance.**Compensation*** Salary Range: $115,000 - $130,000* Salary offers will vary commensurate with experience, education, skills, and training**What AmeriLife Offers**A comprehensive benefits package that includes PTO, medical, dental, vision, retirement savings, disability insurance, and life insurance.**Equal Employment Opportunity Statement**We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and value diversity at all levels of the organization.
