What We Want

The Brand Experiences Manager contributes to the development and execution of Texas A&M University's brand activations and events. This role will play a critical part in driving understanding of how brand activations and partnerships contribute to marketing goals, support University initiatives, and deliver premium, memorable experiences for target audiences.The Brand Experiences Manager will work closely with various departments, colleagues, and partners to ensure a cohesive and compelling presence across all brand activations and experiences, ensuring all are impactful, trend-aligned and elevate Texas A&M's brand strength and stature.

Responsibilities

Brand Experiences Strategy Development & Management

  • Contribute to and help guide the creation, implementation, and management of Texas A&M University's brand experiences strategy to align with overall brand goals and platform, including event roadmaps, partnership frameworks, and experiential marketing plans

  • Participate in market research and analyze trends to identify experiential and partnership opportunities for Texas A&M University

  • Collaborate with senior leadership, brand marketing, content, and agency partners to align the brand experiences strategy with the University's mission, vision, values, and goals

  • Stay on top of industry, brand activation, and pop culture trends and cultural moments to identify proactive opportunities

Partnership & Collaboration

  • Identify and manage strategic partnerships with brands, influencers, agencies and vendors to create experiential opportunities to enhance Texas A&M brand awareness and connection

  • Build and maintain relationships with external partners that drive Texas A&M's brand strategy forward through amplified reach of shared target audiences

Experiential Marketing Management

  • Conceptualize, plan, and execute experiential marketing efforts to promote the University's brand and key messages with target audiences to achieve strategic objectives

  • Coordinate with internal teams and external agency partners to produce high-quality experiences to help create, reinforce, and/or change target audience attitudes, beliefs, and behaviors

  • Manage day-to-day workflows, vendor contracts, and risk mitigation and deliver within budget and on-schedule

Performance Management

  • Set measurable objectives for brand experiences and track progress against these goals

  • Analyze post-activation data and generate insights, recaps, and recommendations for future optimizations

  • Report results to executive stakeholders, highlighting successes and areas of improvement to inform ongoing strategy

Team Leadership

  • Mentor a Production Manager for expanded role in brand activation logistics and support

  • Provide guidance on brand activation development and best practices

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Five years of experience in brand marketing or experiential marketing and large-scale brand events

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience leading development and execution of high-profile brand activations for a national consumer facing brand or higher education entity

  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, social media, and content creation

  • Creative thinker with a keen eye for detail and design

  • Passion for and deep understanding of Texas A&M's mission, values, and culture

  • Self-driven with strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills
