As the engineering leader for the platform, the Senior Manager, Observability Data Platform Engineering oversees teams responsible for platform architecture, telemetry ingestion, data processing, platform reliability, performance optimization, automation, governance, user enablement, and technology lifecycle management. The Senior Manager, Observability Data Platform Engineering is accountable for delivering a secure, scalable, highly available, and cost-efficient observability ecosystem that supports thousands of users and hundreds of data-producing systems enterprise-wide.The Senior Manager, Observability Data Platform Engineering partners closely with Product Management, Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, Application Engineering, Cloud Platform, and Enterprise Architecture leaders to define and execute the platform strategy and roadmap. This includes advancing observability capabilities that improve operational visibility, service reliability, engineering productivity, and data-driven decision-making across the enterprise. The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise with strong leadership, product thinking, and operational excellence.
