OVERVIEW

The Data & AI Enablement Senior Director leads the strategy and execution of enterprise data capabilities that enable insight, scale, and informed decision-making. This role is responsible for building and modernizing data foundations, strengthening governance and trust, and enabling analytics and AI-driven capabilities through high-quality, well-managed data.

The ideal leader balances long-term vision with hands-on execution, partners effectively across technical and business teams, and focuses on measurable outcomes, adoption, and sustainability. AI is viewed as an extension of data maturity and analytics—not a standalone function.

Salary: $175,000 - $200,000 DOE + relocation if needed

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Define and execute the enterprise data and analytics strategy, ensuring data platforms and practices are scalable, secure, and reliable.
  • Lead the modernization of data architecture, integration patterns, and platforms to improve data quality, accessibility, and usability.
  • Establish and govern an enterprise approach to data products, reporting, and analytics, enabling self-service while maintaining strong standards.
  • Advance data governance, stewardship, privacy, and risk management practices across the organization.
  • Enable responsible use of advanced analytics and AI capabilities built on trusted data foundations.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams across technology, security, legal, operations, and business units to align data initiatives with organizational priorities.
  • Drive adoption and organizational change through communication, training, and practical enablement of data-driven ways of working.
  • Translate complex data strategies and outcomes into clear, actionable insights for executive and senior leadership.
  • Define and track metrics related to data quality, platform performance, analytics adoption, and business impact.
  • Stay current on best practices and emerging trends in data management, analytics, and AI enablement, incorporating innovation in a thoughtful, risk‑aware manner.
  • Lead, develop, and mentor a high-performing data organization, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee budgets, resource planning, and delivery for complex, multi-year data and analytics initiatives.
QUALIFICATIONS Required
  • Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., information systems, computer science, data science, analytics, or a related discipline), or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years of progressively responsible experience in data, analytics, or related technology domains.
  • 5+ years of experience leading teams or complex, enterprise-level programs.
  • Deep knowledge of enterprise data management, analytics, and modern data platforms.
  • Strong understanding of data governance, privacy, security, and responsible technology practices.
  • Proven ability to translate strategy into execution and drive organizational change.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
Preferred
  • Experience leading enterprise data or analytics organizations in large, complex environments.
  • Demonstrated success enabling advanced analytics or AI-driven capabilities through strong data foundations.
  • Experience driving organization-wide data adoption and data-driven decision‑making.
  • Familiarity with cloud‑based data ecosystems and modern data architecture patterns.
