This is a hybrid role that requires some on-site work (inside our Indianapolis, Indiana office). In addition to the on-site duties, there are additional responsibilities that can be completed outside of the office, resulting in this being a hybrid role.

This position designs, builds, and supports reliable ETL pipelines and automated data workflows that enable analytics, reporting, and operational data needs. This role ensures data is accurately ingested, transformed, validated, and delivered across platforms in a consistent and scalable way.

You will learn how to be the expert to best serve our members:

  • Design, build, and maintain ETL processes that move data from source systems into analytical and reporting platforms.
  • Support and enhance existing Power Automate processes.
  • Develop and support SQL-based transformations, validations, and data preparation logic.
  • Automate data workflows, including scheduling, dependencies, monitoring, and notifications, to reduce manual effort and operational risk.
  • Support file-based, database-based, and API-driven data integrations.
  • Maintain and enhance automated data pipelines to ensure high availability, accuracy, and data integrity.
  • Act as a trusted technical resource for data movement, automation, and operational data workflows.


You will make a difference as you live out our purpose:

  • Evaluate, implement, and support data integration and automation tools with a focus on reliability, scalability, and data quality.
  • Partner with Data Engineering, BI, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into reliable ETL workflows.
  • Support large data requests and operational data processes requiring detailed data collection, transformation, and validation.
  • Assist with troubleshooting data pipeline failures and participate in root-cause analysis and resolution.
  • Coordinate with IT and platform teams to support upgrades, enhancements, and best practices for tools and systems in use.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


You will help grow the business:

  • Research and provide data from enterprise systems to support organizational initiatives and operational needs.
  • Improve the efficiency and reliability of data delivery through automation and standardized processes.
  • Influence cross-functional partners to improve data quality, data integration, and operational consistency.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce recurring data issues through better ETL design and automation.

  • Continue to develop knowledge of data integration, ETL practices, and automation technologies.
  • Participate in appropriate learning and networking opportunities to maintain and expand technical expertise.
  • Research and learn new technologies and tools that can improve data reliability, automation, and operational efficiency within Data & Analytics.


Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelorโ€™s Degree in Information Systems, Informatics, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in data-focused roles involving ETL, data integration, or data operations.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL, including writing and optimizing queries, joins, transformations, and validation logic, including the ability to read, interpret, and troubleshoot complex scripts.
  • Proficiency with automation or orchestration using Power Automate.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric suite of data tools (Power BI, SharePoint, Data Factory).
  • Familiarity with enterprise ETL tools such as Informatica; experience building or supporting ETL / ELT pipelines in a production environment.
  • Familiarity with supporting file-based integrations (SFTP, SharePoint, cloud storage); familiarity with working with APIs.
  • Exposure to modern data platforms (Azure SQL, Synapse, Fabric, or similar).
  • Excellent analytical problem-solving skillset committed to ethical use of data.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-directed โ€“ works well independently and with cross-functional teams.
