SUMMARY

Reporting to the National Sales Managers (2), the Sales Operations Coordinator provides administrative and operational support to the Sales organization by ensuring the accurate and timely execution of sales-related activities. This position plays a key role in supporting independent retailers, strategic accounts, and internal sales personnel through customer onboarding, data management, order support, reporting, and cross-functional coordination.

The Sales Operations Coordinator serves as a trusted partner to the Sales team by maintaining accurate customer information, facilitating communication across departments, and helping ensure seamless customer experience from account setup through ongoing support. Success in this role requires exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, responsiveness, and a strong commitment to customer service.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provides day-to-day administrative support to the Sales team, including independent retailers and strategic accounts.
  • Coordinates the onboarding of new customers by accurately entering and maintaining customer information across multiple business systems.
  • Ensures customer account setup documentation is complete, accurate, and processed in a timely manner.
  • Maintains customer master data, pricing, sales agreements, and other account-related information while ensuring data integrity.
  • Assists Sales Representatives with preparing customer proposals, presentations, reports, and sales materials.
  • Responds to customer inquiries and routes requests to the appropriate internal departments for timely resolution.
  • Partners with Customer Experience, Finance, Operations, Product Development, Marketing, and other departments to support customer needs and ensure efficient execution of sales activities.
  • Assists with order management by monitoring customer requests, tracking order status, and communicating updates as needed.
  • Generates and distributes sales reports, customer activity reports, and other business metrics to support decision-making.
  • Maintains organized electronic and physical customer records in accordance with company standards.
  • Assists with coordinating customer meetings, travel arrangements, trade shows, and other sales-related events.
  • Supports special projects, process improvements, and other administrative initiatives as assigned.
  • Maintains confidentiality of customer, pricing, and company information at all times.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Two or more years of administrative, sales support, customer service, or account coordination experience.
  • Experience with data entry and maintaining customer information in ERP or CRM systems.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
DESIRABLES
  • Experience supporting a business-to-business (B2B) sales organization.
  • Experience in the furniture, manufacturing, or consumer products industry.
  • Working knowledge of Oracle or other ERP systems.
  • Experience onboarding large retail or strategic customer accounts.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and data analysis.
  • Experience supporting trade shows, sales meetings, or customer events.
EFFORT
  • Frequently sits and uses a computer, keyboard, telephone, and other office equipment.
