Description

Founded in 1991, Zwicker represents creditors in a variety of consumer and commercial recovery and litigation efforts. Zwicker is headquartered in Andover, Massachusetts, and maintains office locations throughout the United States.


 Zwicker is presently seeking a Litigation Operations Assistant to join our team. Applicants shall be versed in the litigation process, document preparation, and management of deadlines. Prior creditor rights experience is a plus but not required. Applicants should be organized and detail oriented and be able to work independently.


The base hourly rate for this position is $18.00.  


Responsibilities

  • Review and process litigation documents from multiple states
  • Data entry for litigation specific documents
  • Communicate with branch sites in each state when errors need correction, or clarification is required to effectively process litigation documents
  • Basic scanning and copying
  • Comply with all applicable standard operating procedures set forth by the Firm and its clients
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Litigation Operations Team

Requirements

  • 1 year in a legal environment
  • Ability to use discretion and handle confidential information
  • Ability to meet deadlines and produce high-quality work product
  • Experience with editing, revising, and drafting of legal documents
  • High level of proficiency with proofreading documents
  • Strong attention to detail and top-notch organizational skills
  • Strong computer skills (specifically Microsoft Word and Excel)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Be able to communicate in a common language with (or to) individuals or groups verbally and/or in writing
  • Be able to operate a computer, phone, or equivalent device
  • Be able to complete a minimum of a 40-hour flexible workweek schedule 
  • Be able to read and comprehend position-specific documents and correspondence


Physical Qualifications

  • Be able to lift five pounds or greater
  • Be able to sit 90% of the workday at times
  • Be able to bend at the waist and be mobile when needed
  • Be able to concentrate and use critical thinking
