Details:
Network Analyst
Location: (1-2 days a week onsite requested) in Houston TX or Owensboro KY
Duration: 6 months CTH OR Full time/Direct Hire
Analyst II Network and Planning
Position description:
Responsible for the management of the Wired/Wireless Infrastructure and serve as a general resource towards the support of Voice, Video and Data for the Enterprise. Configure and setup network Routers, Switches, Wireless WAPS, Voice PBXs, Phones and Voice Gateways. Expected to manage SNMP network monitoring tools. Ability to participate in (24/7) on call rotation to handle outages or contact appropriate resources. Travel on occasion would be expected.
Required skills, knowledge and experience:
  • Experienced in the configuration and troubleshooting of Network switching and routing protocols
  • Experienced with the management of Network Monitoring tools
  • Experienced with the setup and management of Wi-Fi networks

Preferred skills, knowledge and experience:
  • Experience with supporting an Enterprise Voice system
  • Fundamentals of Cyber Security procedures
  • Fundamentals of SCADA and Radio networks
  • Fundamentals of MS TEAMS & Video Conferencing

Required Education:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required
  • CCNA certification is required but does not need to be current

Preferred Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science preferred but not required
