Role: Data Center Network Engineer
Location: Houston, TX 
 

Job Summary:

  • We are seeking an engineer with extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with Datacenter Network migration, with Juniper and Arista Technologies

Years of experience needed –

  • 8+ years of experience in Data Centre Network Eng.

Technical Skills:

  • Oversee and execute data center network migrations from Arista to Juniper-based solutions.
  • Create detailed cable sheets, design documents, and migration plans.
  • Schedule and coordinate migration windows and activities with relevant stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement scripts for network automation during the migration process.
  • Implement and optimize Juniper networks according to best practices and business needs.
  • Leverage Juniper Apstra for intent-based networking, automation, and validation of the new infrastructure.
  • Configure Juniper QFX 5130 and 5120 series switching platforms.
  • Configure and troubleshoot advanced routing and switching technologies, including L2 VPN, EVPN, MPLS, and L3 VPN.
  • Demonstrate deep expertise in routing protocols like BGP and OSPF, Route maps, route filters.
  • Proficiently manage IPv4 and IPv6 addressing schemes, IP traffic management, and network infrastructure design.
  • Create comprehensive technical documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and migration procedures.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including server, storage, and application teams, to ensure successful migrations.
  • Participate in on-call rotations to provide support during and after migration windows.
