The Role

The Supplier Analyst will be responsible for supporting suppliers in tool usage and training. They will develop enhancements to internal tools and processes and support metrics development, and monitor and improve the performance of our supplier partners. A Supplier Analyst will also collaborate with various internal teams and suppliers to identify performance bottlenecks, propose solutions, and implement improvements. Lastly, they will support timeliness and accuracy of deliveries and payments.

This is a work from home position within the U.S.

The Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain detailed documentation related to performance metrics, issues, and improvements. This includes creating performance benchmarks, supporting performance improvement proposals, and maintaining records of performance-related changes.
  • Gather and analyze data to identify trends and patterns. Use this data to create comprehensive reports, highlighting any areas of concern.
  • Identify obstacles and inefficiencies in systems and processes. Propose, gain agreement and implement solutions to improve performance.
  • Gather all supplier related information, including but not limited to, contacts and certifications, and periodically audit for accuracy.
  • Project manage simultaneously multiple performance related activities, including planning and coordinating with team members.  Track delivery milestones and assist with forecast adjustments.  Provide support for supplier invoicing to ensure compliance.
  • Provide training and support for team members and suppliers on performance-related topics. Including training on how to use performance monitoring tools as well as providing support when performance issues arise.
What We Look For in a Candidate
  • Preferred Bachelor's degree in business, data analytics, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in business analytics, supplier training or a related area.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret large volumes of data that lead to actionable insights.  Experience with performance metrics and KPIs.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required, and knowledge of SAP, Power BI and AI tools (CoPilot) is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with teams and stakeholders both in written and meeting form.
  • Must be a self starter with high curiosity and able to take initiative
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects.
  • Ability to travel approximately 10%.
Compensation
This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.
