How We LEAD
Capitol Christian Music Group is seeking a Manager, Data and Analytics to join our growing Data team in artist and business intelligence across the label.
Reporting to the Vice President, Data and Insights, this role will analyze large datasets across streaming and digital platforms, social media, and audience engagement channels to identify trends, measure performance, and uncover opportunities for artist growth. The ideal candidate will translate complex data into clear summaries and actionable recommendations that inform
decisions across business development and artist strategy. The role is ideal for a solutions oriented, intellectually curious self-starter with a passion for music and a drive to continuously evolve data capabilities and impact.


How You'll CREATE
Analyze large datasets across music streaming platforms (e.g., Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube), social media, fan engagement, and marketing performance to identify meaningful trends and opportunities.
Own ongoing reporting, performance analysis, and insight delivery across the label in partnership with data leadership.
Develop and maintain dashboards and data visualizations to enable teams to track performance and uncover insights.
Query and manipulate data using SQL, Python, and similar tools to support both recurring reporting and ad-hoc analysis.
Build customized analyses and reports across revenue, consumption and marketing data.
Deliver data-driven analyses that inform marketing and digital strategy and support business initiatives.
Maintain and validate data pipelines to ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability of analytics outputs.
Partner cross-functionally with marketing, digital, and commercial teams to answer key business questions through data.
Monitor trends across streaming, social, and audience engagement platforms to surface emerging signals relevant to artist development and marketing.
Support the creation and maintenance of automated reporting frameworks to improve efficiency and data accessibility.
Collaborate with analytics leadership to translate findings into clear insights that support strategic decision-making.


Bring Your VIBE
3+ years of experience in data analysis, analytics, consulting, or similar analytical roles.
Experience working with analytical tools including SQL, Python, or similar platforms.
Experience working with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker, DOMO, or similar platforms.
Experience working with large, complex datasets and applying analytical thinking to derive insights.
Music, media, or entertainment industry experience is a plus but not required.
Bachelor's degree in business, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Economics, or a related analytical field.
Passion for music and curiosity about how fans discover and engage with artists.
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to distill large datasets into concise, actionable insights.
Familiarity with streaming, social media, and digital audience data is a plus.
Ability to build dynamic models and analyses and translate data findings into clear insights and concise summaries.
Understanding of basic statistical concepts and analytical methodologies.
Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
