A Data Scientist will bring forth a strong focus on building intelligent agents, automation, and internal tools that enhance team and departmental workflows. This role spans both traditional data science responsibilities and emerging generative AI capabilities, with an emphasis on designing, implementing, and operating agents that leverage Copilot and related platforms. The ideal candidate is hands-on, technically curious, and motivated to apply data, automation, and AI solutions to real business problems.
Responsibilities
Design, build, and deploy intelligent agents to automate team and departmental workflows
Implement and extend agents using Copilot and related GenAI tooling
Develop internal tools and automation solutions that improve data access, analysis, and decision-making
Apply statistical analysis and data mining techniques to support agent logic, insights, and recommendations
Manage and prepare data pipelines to support both analytical and GenAI-driven use cases
Partner with stakeholders to identify opportunities where automation and agents can drive efficiency or scale
Integrate agents and tools with existing platforms and business processes
Support and continuously improve deployed agents through monitoring, tuning, and iteration
Document solutions and share best practices to enable broader adoption across teams
Qualifications & Skills
Experience building or implementing intelligent agents or automation solutions
Familiarity with leveraging Copilot to design, configure, or extend agent-based workflows
Strong foundation in statistical analysis and data mining techniques
Experience working across data management and analytics use cases
Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI)
Comfort working with structured and unstructured data sources
Ability to translate business needs into automated, data-driven solutions

  • Runs analytical experiments in a methodical manner to find opportunities for product and process optimization. Assists in the presentation of business insights to management using visualization technologies and data storytelling.
  • May partner with Data Architects, Data Analysts, Data Engineers and Visualization Experts to develop data-driven solutions for the business.
