Role Overview
The jBase Developer supports critical database enhancements and data preparation for an enterprise SAP system consolidation. In this role, the developer will modify jBase database structures to format, cleanse, and extract legacy data for cutover, while maintaining ongoing jBase systems supporting warehouse management (WMS) and e-commerce web applications. This is a 100% remote contract position with a flexible schedule ranging from 20 to 40 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities

Database Development & Data Preparation
• Write, modify, and optimize jBase code and database routines to reformat, transform, and extract legacy data for SAP migration cutover.
• Analyze existing jBase data structures across business divisions to align schemas for system consolidation.
• Develop and execute data cleansing, mapping, and validation scripts to ensure target data readiness.
Warehouse Management & System Maintenance
• Maintain and support ongoing jBase applications tied to warehouse management systems (WMS) and web platform integrations.
• Troubleshoot database performance, application errors, and data extraction routines during migration phases.
• Document database modifications, code changes, data mappings, and conversion procedures.
Required Qualifications
• 5 or more years of hands-on jBase software development and database administration experience.
• Strong experience writing jBase code, stored procedures, data extraction routines, and database scripts.
• Proven experience preparing, formatting, and migrating legacy database data for enterprise ERP conversions (e.g., SAP).
• Experience supporting jBase integrations with external systems, such as Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or web applications.
• Ability to work a fluctuating schedule ranging between 20 and 40 hours per week based on project milestones.
Preferred Qualifications
• Prior experience with SAP data migration cutovers or ERP consolidation initiatives.
• Experience in distribution, e-commerce, commercial equipment, or supply chain industries.
