Bridge Specialty Group is seeking a Data Migration Analyst to join our growing team. This role can sit inour Plano, TX or Daytona Beach, FL office!
The Data Migration Analyst, under the supervision of the Applications Team Leader, is responsible for planning, implementing, and managing the transfer of data between IT systems, software, or applications. The role ensures that data migrations are accurate, reliable, business-aligned, and support operational continuity while minimizing risk.
How You Will Contribute:
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand business drivers, objectives, and outcomes for data migration initiatives.
  • Meet with stakeholders to discover and document data migration needs.
  • Translate business objectives into migration requirements, including data conversion and business continuity.
  • Create and maintain migration project plans including risks, dependencies, and business impacts.
  • Ensure migration activities align with business timelines, priorities, and regulatory considerations.
  • Identify and define business data entities and required attributes.
  • Analyze large datasets to identify patterns, discrepancies, and historical usage.
  • Audit existing data to determine data readiness and migration eligibility.
  • Determine which data should be migrated, archived, transformed, or excluded.
  • Leverage application and domain expertise to assess how data is used within the business.

Skills & Experience to be Successful:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience in DevOps, Jira or equivalent development tools.
  • Foundational knowledge of the insurance industry.
  • Experience writing SQL queries.
  • Foundation knowledge of databases.
  • Previous experience in data migration or data analysis.
  • Experience providing support for Insurance related Agency Management Systems and related applications.
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills for technology-related issues and complex business scenarios.
  • Full-time position that will require periodic early morning, evening, and weekend duties.
  • Up to 20% Travel
  • Associate degree in related discipline (preferred)
  • Previous experience leading teammates or work processes (preferred)
