Job description

This is 100% onsite work position based in Tallahassee,FL. Apply only if you are willing to relocate.

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field. Work experience can substitute on a year for year basis for the degree.

Certifications in the field

Required Experience:

1.       15+ years of experience as a Database Administrator with Oracle,  PL/SQL.

2.       5+ years of experience with Oracle 19c Multi-Tenant Architecture and database infrastructure design on RAC Databases.

3.       Experience working with CDB/PDB environments.

4.       Experience in Red Hat Linux & Oracle Linux Operating Systems.

5.       Experience in following processes and procedures to standardize Database installations and configuration.

6.       Experience automating, scripting, and streamlining processes for efficiency and accuracy utilizing Unix shell scripting or other scripting tools.

7.       Broad experience in the art of performance tuning, utilizing OEM or third-party tools to finely tune objects and queries in Oracle 19c.

8.       Comprehensive understanding of Oracle backup methodologies.

9.       Monitor alert logs, OEM and system alerts, and acting on the Results.

10.   Willingness to participate in after-hours Production support.

11.   Proficiency in Linux, Unix, Java, and DBA.

12.   Understanding of production environments, technical support, and troubleshooting.

13.   Knowledge of Automatic Storage Management (ASM).

14.   Experience with Oracle Exadata.

15.   Experience working in UNIX operating system.

16.   Ability to write simple to complex Linux/Unix shell scripts and Perl scripts.

17.   Strong knowledge in Unix/Linux System administration.

18.   Ability to work independently and to resolve complex Oracle Issues.

19.   Experience with data pump and working knowledge to use expdp and impdp

20.   Ability to effectively diagnose, isolate, and resolve complex problems pertaining to data infrastructure.

21.   Ability to write, SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle Stored Procedures functions, Packages and Database Triggers.

22.   Ability to Tune Oracle SQL and PL/SQL performance.

23.   Experience in logical database design and data models.

24.   Understanding of the software development lifecycle process.

25.  Practical experience in monitoring and turning a database to provide a high availability service.

26.  Experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM).

27.  Knowledge of data privacy and protection initiatives.

28.  Strong communication and collaborative skills.

29.  Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

30.  Knowledge of data masking using Test Data Management Tool to Develop and maintain enterprise-wide data masking standards for Oracle databases

31.  Knowledge of data masking using Test Data Management Tool Define masking rules, algorithms, and transformation logic aligned with business and compliance requirements

32.  Knowledge of data masking using Test Data Management Tool Ensure masked data remains referentially intact across schemas and applications

33.  Knowledge of data masking using Test Data Management Tool Configure and execute masking workflows using the organization’s Test Data Management tool

34.  Knowledge of data masking using Test Data Management Tool Build reusable masking templates, rule sets, and automation pipelines
