Job description

Big Data โ€“ Project Manager

Location: Memphis, TN

Roles and Responsibilities

Hand-on experience in executing Big Data and AI/Client projects

Executing projects in the Marketing space will be a value add

Identify and Understand client requirements, issues, and gaps in their existing technology and recommend Big Data Solutions to meet their immediate and long-term needs

Use and maintain project management tools for project planning, tracking, and reporting according to Data & Analytics standards

Work closely with global team, subject matter experts, and client teams to conceptualize, build and implement Big Data Solutions

Work with client business (sales, operations, marketing, etc.) as well as IT team and being able to act a bridge between them

Define, create, walk through with client & keep various project management documents, such as the following, current throughout the project duration: (Project plans, issues/UAT trackers, business & functional requirements, data dictionaries, data mapping documents)

Identify project risks in time and work with internal and client stakeholders to define and implement mitigation plans

Communicate with internal management, client sponsors and senior leaders on the project status, risks, solution, etc.

Strong data warehouse/Cloud/Big data background in design and development experience, including loading data from Multiple Data sources and complex Data Model design

Provide expert consultation for big-data architecture and best practices to customers

Identify and schedule project deliverable, milestones, and required tasks
