About the Role

iCapital is seeking a Master Data Management Analyst to support the growing needs around data management as well as expanding initiatives to enhance the customer experience of data systems. This individual will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the data governance program, including ensuring teams are completing data requirements and maintaining data accuracy across critical systems. 

Responsibilities

  • Work alongside colleagues across a variety of functional teams to ensure accuracy and completeness of critical data elements within the Fund's Global Data Master (GDM).
  • Support day-to-day data governance program operations, including tracking and following up with teams to ensure data requirements are completed on time and accurately.
  • Monitor data quality across systems, identifying gaps, inconsistencies, or missing information and coordinating resolution with relevant stakeholders.
  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of business rules to monitor quality of master data. 
  • Identify data cleansing opportunities and work with stakeholders to implement.
  • Liaise with key stakeholders to ensure data accuracy and completeness for relevant data points entered into GDM.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve the team's goals.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of relevant experience in the financial industry or a related role 
  • Degree in finance, data management, or a related field is preferred 
  • Previous experience in a master data management role is a plus 
  • Able to manage workload independently within a predetermined timeline and communicate quickly when an extension may be required 
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to track multiple workstreams and follow up with stakeholders to drive completion 
  • Critical attention to detail when reviewing and validating data 
  • Experience with SQL is a plus 
  • Knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

Benefits

The base salary range for this role is $60,000 to $75,000.  iCapital offers a compensation package which includes salary, equity for all full-time employees, and an annual performance bonus.
