Job Description
Visa's Global Data & Platform Services organization is seeking a Product Manager to lead the development, delivery, and life-cycle management of Visa's Data Production capabilities, including data processing pipelines and real-time data streaming platforms. This role is central to advancing Visa's foundational data ecosystem and accelerating the company's cloud-first, modern data transformation strategy.
Reporting to the Director of Global Data Services within the Global Data Office, you will define product vision, strategy, and roadmaps for core data platform capabilities that power analytics, AI/ML, real-time decisioning, and mission-critical payment services across Visa. You will work closely with engineering, data science, business intelligence, governance, security, and global business teams to ensure high-quality, scalable, compliant, and high-performing data products.
This is a pivotal opportunity to shape the future of payment data, influence enterprise data strategy, and drive innovation at massive global scale.
Essential Functions
Product Strategy & Roadmap
  • Develop and execute product strategies for foundational payment data assets aligned with Visa's global data vision and enterprise priorities.
  • Own and maintain the product roadmap for Data Production (data pipelines, orchestration, streaming), ensuring alignment with business objectives and platform modernization initiatives.
  • Lead the evolution of data systems toward cloud-native architectures to improve scalability, agility, performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.

Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Leadership
  • Partner with global and regional teams to understand market-specific data needs and ensure platform capabilities meet both local and enterprise business requirements.
  • Engage with stakeholders across engineering, data science, operations, privacy, and governance to capture requirements, validate use cases, and prioritize features.
  • Communicate product vision, value propositions, priorities, and status updates to senior executives, program managers, and business partners.

Product Development & Delivery
  • Drive end-to-end product lifecycle activities including requirements, design, backlog management, release planning, and post-launch optimization.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering teams to ensure delivery of scalable, reliable, enterprise-grade data production capabilities.
  • Experiment with emerging data engineering tools and technologies to improve data processing efficiency, automated quality, and platform reliability.
  • Support migration of workloads and applications to modernized and compliant data pipelines and streaming platforms across Visa.

Compliance, Governance & Operational Excellence
  • Ensure all data products adhere to Visa's global privacy, security, and data governance policies as well as industry regulations.
  • Proactively identify platform risks, scalability constraints, and operational issues, partnering with engineering and data operations teams for resolution.
  • Promote best practices in product development, agile execution, and continuous improvement across the data product ecosystem.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in the office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
• 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelors Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD
Preferred Qualifications
• 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
• 4 years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree, or 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g., Masters, MBA, JD, MD), or 0 years of work experience with a PhD.
• 3+ years of experience in business or technical product management, ideally with exposure to large scale data engineering or data science platforms.
• Strong understanding of payment technology ecosystems , experience in banking, payments, or financial services data products is highly preferred. Hands on familiarity with Big Data and cloud technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, cloud data services), relational/NoSQL databases, and SQL.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with a proven ability to lead cross functional teams and deliver scalable product solutions with GenAI skills.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, negotiation, and leadership skills with the ability to influence across organizational boundaries.
• Strong analytical, problem solving, and creative thinking abilities.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with engineering teams on architecture trade offs, technical feature development, and system design.
• Advanced degree in a technical or business discipline is a plus.

The estimated salary range for this position is $146,200.00 to $ 233,700.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.
