OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Data Center Sales Manager to lead sales and business development efforts for Subzero Engineering’s Mission Critical Environments product line across the Northeast U.S. This role is specifically for professionals with proven data center sales experience. This position is responsible for driving revenue growth within the data center market by engaging customers, partners, and stakeholders involved in mission-critical facilities.

Connecticut, Delaware, Kentucky, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, Virginia, Maine, Maryland, and West Virginia

Responsibilities

  • Directly develop business within the Northeast territory by selling data center containment and mission-critical solutions to:
    • Data center end users
    • Design-build contractors
    • Engineers and architects specializing in mission-critical environments
  • Manage, support, and expand an established Dealer/Installer network with demonstrated data center capabilities
  • Develop new qualified dealers and representatives with data center expertise
  • Forecast regional sales using input from dealers, representatives, and construction databases
  • Provide hands-on technical and installation support at active data center job sites
  • Conduct onsite inspections within live or operational data center environments
  • Create scopes of work and technical specifications tailored to customer and facility requirements
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with customers and design teams via proposals, email, and phone

Requirements

  • Minimum 3–5 years of direct sales experience in the data center or mission-critical infrastructure industry
  • Proven experience selling products or solutions into:
    • Data centers
    • Mission-critical facilities
    • Colocation, hyperscale, enterprise, or edge environments
  • Demonstrated ability to work with:
    • End users
    • Contractors
    • Engineers and architects on data center projects
  • Willingness to travel 40–50% to support dealers, visit job sites, attend meetings, and participate in training
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
  • Experience with ERP systems (Infor preferred)
  • Ability to learn and utilize Salesforce/CRM, Dodge, and CAD viewing programs
  • Willingness to attend regional trade shows related to the data center industry
