Job description

Job Title: ERP AnalystJob Description

Analyze business processes and translate operational needs into ERP system solutions. Configure and maintain ERP modules such as finance, purchasing, inventory, manufacturing, and sales. Troubleshoot system issues, resolve errors, and coordinate fixes with IT or external vendors. Maintain and improve ERP master data including items, vendors, customers, BOMs, and pricing. Develop, maintain, and enhance reports, dashboards, and KPIs to support management decisions. Participate in system testing. Create system documentation, SOPs, and user training materials. Assist with system integrations between ERP and related systems such as CRM, WMS, or eCommerce platforms.

Responsibilities
  • Analyze and translate business processes into ERP solutions.
  • Configure and maintain ERP modules including finance, purchasing, inventory, manufacturing, and sales.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, coordinating with IT or external vendors.
  • Maintain and enhance ERP master data, including items, vendors, customers, BOMs, and pricing.
  • Develop and enhance reports, dashboards, and KPIs to support management decisions.
  • Participate in system testing.
  • Create system documentation, SOPs, and user training materials.
  • Assist with system integrations between ERP and related systems such as CRM, WMS, or eCommerce platforms.
Essential Skills
  • 2+ years of hands-on ERP system experience.
  • Strong understanding of business processes, especially in finance, supply chain, and operations.
  • Experience supporting ERP users in a functional or analyst role.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical or system solutions.
  • Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Epicor, Oracle, or Infor.
  • Manufacturing or distribution industry experience.
  • Experience with ERP implementations or system upgrades.
  • Knowledge of reporting tools such as Power BI and SQL.
  • Experience working with third-party ERP vendors or consultants.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Strong skills in ERP, Excel data entry, inventory management, and reconciliation.
  • Proficiency in creating Power BI dashboards.
Work Environment

The work schedule is Monday through Friday with flexible hours from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM or 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM. There may be a requirement to work overtime, with 10-hour days being somewhat frequent.

This is a Contract position based out of Bay Shore, NY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
