We are currently hiring for a Data Architect Manager.

Position: Data Architect Manager

The Data Architect Manager is responsible for transforming complex data sets into clear, actionable dashboards and reports that drive business decisions. Reporting directly to the Chief Technology Officer, this role works across the organization's Azure-based data eco-system, partnering with stakeholders to deliver reporting solutions that are both technically sound and visually compelling. You will play a key role in ensuring data quality, consistency, and accessibility across all reporting models - a role built for someone who cares about the quality of the data as much as the quality of the dashboard.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports across a variety of business domains.
  • Write and maintain Python scripts for data extraction, transformation and automation.
  • Collaborate to implement and extend data pipelines and integration workflows using Azure Data Factory.
  • Query and manage data within Azure SQL databases, ensuring accuracy and performance.
  • Apply data warehouse modeling principles (star schema, snowflake, etc.) to support scalable, reliable reporting structures).
  • Translate business requirements into reporting specifications and deliver them end-to-end.
  • Document data sources, transformations, and report logic for maintainability and knowledgeable sharing.
  • Identify data quality issues and work with upstream teams to resolve them.
  • Adhere to all organizational policies, procedures, and applicable data governance requirements.
  • Other Duties: As assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in a data analyst or business intelligence role.
  • Strong proficiency in Power BI, including DAX, data modeling, and report publishing.
  • Solid Python skills, particularly for data wrangling (pandas, numpy, or similar libraries).
  • Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory for building and monitoring data pipelines.
  • Working knowledge of Azure SQL Database- query optimization, schema design and access patterns.
  • Familiarity with data warehouse concepts and dimensional modeling.
  • Ability to communicate technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail and a bias toward clean, well-documented work.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with a Aure Synapse Analytics or Databricks.
  • Familiarity with version control (Git) for managing code and pipeline configurations.
  • Exposure to medallion architecture (Bronze/Silver/Gold) or similar layered data frameworks.

Working Conditions

The Data Architect Manager will primarily work in an office or hybrid environment with regular use of a computer workstation. Standard business hours apply, Monday through Friday, though occasional flexibility may be required to meet project deadlines or support time-sensitive reporting needs.

This position may require limited travel to collaborate with business stakeholders at other locations ,approximately 5% of the time. This position will operate under general supervision.

Physical Requirements

Role requires frequent sitting and keyboarding. Occasional standing and walking. Position requires the employee to regularly communicate verbally and in writing. Lifting requirements are minimal, generally 10lbs or less.

Pay Range: $140,000 - $160,000 / Yr
