Job description

One Federal Solution is seeking an Analyst to support our Federal Government client in the Personal Identity Verification (PIV) Card Credentialing Office located in the Spokane, Washington. The PIV Specialist will provide operational and administrative support for federal identity management and security programs while ensuring compliance with applicable policies, procedures, and regulations.

PIV Specialist and Duties
  • Perform daily operational and administrative functions supporting federal security, identity management, and credentialing programs.
  • Maintain accurate records, documentation, and reports in compliance with Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ICAM), Homeland Security Presidential Directive 12 (HSPD-12), Physical Access Control Systems (PACS), and the Privacy Act.
  • Coordinate, monitor, and track security background investigations and related documentation.
  • Issue, manage, and maintain personnel access credentials in accordance with federal security requirements.
  • Handle sensitive and personally identifiable information (PII) with discretion while ensuring secure data management practices.
  • Collaborate with program personnel, security teams, and stakeholders to support efficient, compliant, and effective credentialing operations.
  • Assist with audits, reporting requirements, and process improvements as needed.
PIV Specialist Qualifications and Requirements
  • Associate degree in Administration, Security, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 3–5 years of experience supporting federal administrative, security, credentialing, or identity management operations.
  • Working knowledge of ICAM, PACS, HSPD-12, and federal background investigation processes.
  • Familiarity with GSA security policies, federal credentialing standards, and compliance requirements.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage records, maintain accurate data, and prepare reports.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to safeguard confidential and sensitive information.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a regulated federal environment.
